The Illinois Secretary of State’s Office touches the lives of more Illinoisans and businesses than any other executive branch office.
My first elected office was McLean County Coroner where I learned that approximately 300 Illinois residents die each year waiting for vital organ transplants. For my work towards reducing this number, I was honored by different organ and tissue agencies.
As state representative, I have worked with the Secretary of State’s office for a first-person consent law making ones wishes for donation binding.
For What Matters
As your Illinois Secretary of State, you won't just see my picture on the wall at your local Secretary of State facility, you will likely see me in person serving you!
